From the definition of oxidation. We have that addition of Oxygen is Oxidation and reduction is the opposite. And from the equation the change is from ozone to oxygen. From that change there is removal of oxygen which shows reduction. And any substance that undergo reduction is an oxidizing agent. Therefore it has been oxidized to oxygen
