Partial pressure= no of moles of one of the mixture/ no of moles of the total mixture×the total pressure.
No of moles of oxygen= 80/32= 2.5
No of moles of nitrogen= 56/28=2
The total no of moles = 2+2.5=4.5
The total pressure= 1.8
The partial pressure of oxygen=2.5/4.5×1.8=1

Pa=(na/nt)Pt
No of moles of O2(na)=80g=2.5moles
No of moles of N2=56g=2moles
Total no of moles(nt)=2.5+2=4.5
Pt=1.8
therefore Pa=(2.5/4.5)1.8
=0.55555555x1.8=0.1atm

80g +56.0g=1.8atm this is the total atmospheric pressure.
Therefore; 136=1.8atm.
So oxygen;80=x
Cross multiply and solve for x
X=(1.8)(80)/136
X=1.05atm
