if 3x^3-2x^2+7x+5 is divided by x-1
using remainders theorem
x-1
x=1
3(1)^3-2(1)^2+7(1)+5
3-2+7+5=13

if 3x^3-2x^2+7x+5 is divided by (x-1)
using remmainders theorem then
x-1=0
x=1
subsituting x=1 into the polynomial
3(1)^3-2(1)^2+7(1)+5
therefore 3-2+7+5=13

Please note, my post on further mathematics is wrong because in finding a polynomial on such question we will used 1 and 2 to see whether it is polynomial or not. therefore, firrt step, x-1=0or x=1 f(1)=3(1)3-2(1)2+7 instead of x. therefore, x=13

D. Emmanuel Sati

f(x)=3(x)3-2(x)2+7 f(2)=3(2)3-2(2)2+7 :. x-2=0 or x=2

Divide the equation by x+1
X+1√3x^3-2x^2+7x+5

\(f(x) = 3x^{3} - 2x^{2} + 7x + 5\).

\(x - 1 = 0, x = 1\)

\(f(1) = 3(1)^{3} - 2(1)^{2} + 7(1) + 5 = 13\)
