\(3x + x - 180^{\circ}\);
\(4x = 180^{\circ}\)
\(x = \frac{180^{\circ}}{4} = 45^{\circ}\)
Each exterior angle = \(45^{\circ}\)
But each exterior angle of a regular polygon = \(360^{\circ}\),
where n is the no. of sides of the polygon.
Sides of the polygon, \(n = \frac{360^{\circ}}{45^{\circ}} = 8\).
The polygon has 8 sides.
