A + B + C = 0
A and C are in opposite direction and are related in magnitude by A = 2C
∴ A = -2C
Substitute A = -2C in the first equation
-2C + B + C = 0
-C + B = 0
B = C
∴ B and C are equal in magnitude and point in the same direction (both are positive signs)
