V=Fλ
Where v is speed,
F= frequency
λ= wavelength
But F=1/T
T= period (time)
V=λ/T
V=10m/s
T=0.5s
λ=?
Substituting we have
10=λ/0.5
Cross multiply we have
10x0.5=λ
λ=5m

Sofia Oji

The distance btw two successive and trough is the wavelength, λ
Recall, T=1/F
So, F=1/T
F=1/0.5 =2
V=fλ
λ=v/f =10/2 =5
So, λ=5m

Honour

No it should be B.
Wavelength = velocity/period
=10/0.5
=20m

EX PSYCHO

There were only velocity and period(T) given so maybe you should first solve out for the frequency which is 1/T stated in the foremost of the comment then you will get your right answer

EX PSYCHO

There were only period (T) and velocity so you are wrong by calculating frequency with respect to the time given and f = 1/T
