Algae and bryophytes do not have vascular tissues or are not vascular plants, but pteridophyes are vascular plants, and therefore possess vascular tissues. What makes the three of them similar is that all of them require moisture for fertilization.

This option is wrong because the pteridophyta Have a well developed vascular bundle/tissue but these three
- algae
- byrophtes
- pteridophtes
requires water for their fertilization no wonder the bryophtes are called the amphibian plants

Vascular tissue is a complex conducting tissue, formed of more than one cell type, found in vascular plants. The primary components of vascular tissue are the xylem and phloem. These two tissues transport fluid and nutrients internally. The algae, bryophytes and pteridophytes are similar in that they have no vascular tissue.
