as we all knew that the green plants can manufacture their own food through the process called photosynthesis,so they are very important inorder to produce food for them and the animals.THEY ARE THE PRODUCER

Oluwaseun Adeyemi

Producers are any kind of green plant. Green plants make their food by taking sunlight and using the energy to make sugar. This process is called photosynthesis. The plant uses this sugar, also called glucose to make many things, such as wood, leaves, roots, and bark. Trees, such as the mighty Oak, and the grand American Beech, are examples of producers.

These autotrophs are important in the ecosystem because they create their own food via inorganic substances, such as carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide is a waste product of respiration of organisms like human beings. Producers also serve as food for organisms that cannot produce their own food called heterotrophs.
