Eutrophication is a term used to describe the excessive growth of Algae and Plant life in water bodies. Eutrophication is caused mainly by the washing away of nutrient in form of Chemicals into Water Bodies and since Alga require only little of these nutrients to survive, thrive and replicate they begin to grow exponentially ultimately leading to Eutrophication.
